What is Axiom Trade?

Axiom Trade is the public name traders use for axiom.trade — a browser (and mobile) terminal for on-chain trading. Official copy describes it as a hybrid trading app and wallet: you can buy and sell in one click, track wallets, watch X/Twitter, and route into perpetuals and yield products without parking funds on a centralised exchange order book.

Who built it

Y Combinator lists Axiom in the Winter 2025 batch, with founders Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis, based around San Francisco, product URL axiom.trade. The YC blurb positions Axiom as a DeFi trading app for memecoins, perpetuals and yield, with the longer-term aim of abstracting chains and accounts.

What you trade

Most volume historically sits on Solana memecoins (Pump.fun style launches, Raydium migrations). Referral docs also mention fees from trades on BSC and Ethereum. Perpetual futures run through a Hyperliquid integration; Axiom documents up to 50x leverage and a 0.01% Axiom fee per perps transaction, on top of Hyperliquid’s own maker/taker schedule.

Wallet and custody

Axiom’s FAQ says it is a wallet as well as a trading app, with non-custodial infrastructure and key management via partner Turnkey. You see a recovery phrase. That is the opposite of Binance-style custody: Axiom cannot “reset” a lost seed. Docs also suggest importing the phrase into a standard wallet so you always have an exit path.

What sits in the terminal

Who it is for

Active memecoin and on-chain traders who want discovery and execution on one screen. It is a poor fit if you want regulated UK brokerage, fiat bank withdrawals as your primary rail, or if you are unwilling to self-custody a seed phrase.
