What is Axiom Trade?
Axiom Trade is the name traders use for axiom.trade, a web-based terminal for on-chain trading. Axiom describes itself as a hybrid trading app and wallet: you can buy and sell in one click, track wallets, watch X/Twitter, and move into perpetuals and yield without keeping funds on a centralised exchange.

Who built Axiom
Y Combinator lists Axiom in its Winter 2025 batch, with founders Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis and a location of Austin, Texas. YC describes Axiom as an app to “trade memecoins, perpetuals, and earn yield”, and Axiom’s launch post calls it “the gateway to DeFi”.
What you can trade
Most activity has been in Solana memecoins, such as Pump.fun-style launches and their migrations to DEX pools. Axiom’s FAQ describes Solana support, while its referral and reward pages also count trades on BSC and Ethereum, so check the live app for the chains available to you. Perpetual futures run through a Hyperliquid integration, with up to 50x leverage and a 0.01% Axiom fee per perps trade on top of Hyperliquid’s own fees.
Wallet and custody
Axiom’s FAQ describes non-custodial infrastructure, with key management by its partner Turnkey. You’re shown a recovery phrase when you sign up. That’s the opposite of an exchange holding your funds: Axiom can’t “reset” a lost seed phrase. The docs suggest importing the phrase into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare so you always have another way to reach your funds.
