Axiom Trade perps on Hyperliquid
Axiom lets you trade perpetual futures on Hyperliquid from the same account you use for Solana spot trades. You can go long or short with up to 50x leverage, with margin held in USDC.
High risk: Axiom’s own docs warn that “many traders lose everything by overleveraging.” At 50x, a 2% move against you can wipe out your margin.

How to deposit for perps
Open the SOL/USDC converter
Click the SOL–USDC button in the top right of the Axiom terminal.
Convert SOL to USDC on Hyperliquid
Enter the amount you want to use as margin. This moves value from your Solana wallet to your Hyperliquid balance.
Open the Perpetuals tab
Choose the pair you want to trade.
How to open a position
Choose long or short
Long profits if the price rises; short profits if it falls.
Set size and leverage
Enter your amount in USDC and pick your leverage. Lower leverage means your liquidation price is further away.
Place the order and monitor it
Your positions, open orders and trade history appear in three tabs. The perps portfolio shows entry price, mark price, liquidation price, margin and take-profit/stop-loss settings.
How liquidation works
With leverage, you borrow against your margin. If the price moves against you far enough to use up that margin, the position is closed automatically, which is a liquidation. As a rough guide, ignoring fees and funding: at 10x a 10% adverse move wipes out your margin, and at 50x it takes only 2%. Setting a stop-loss and using lower leverage gives you more room.
Withdrawing from perps
When you’re done, use the same SOL–USDC button, choose swap, and convert your Hyperliquid USDC back to USDC on Solana. Axiom’s docs say it arrives after about 5 minutes. From there you can convert to SOL or withdraw.
